So it took me all day to do, but here it is at last. A full tutorial from paper to deviantart, how I draw, scan, edit, color AND shade.

SORRY FOR THE BLOODY HUGE FILE! YOU'LL HAVE TO DOWNLOAD IT, TO MAKE IT A REASONABLE SIZE! I'm really sorry about that. . . to resize it, I'd have to change all 48 slides, and then it's hard to read the photoshop text. ^^; geez, I suck at this.

Awesome tutorial! I usually just shade with a darker tone of a color...but this just makes things easier! Thanks!

Ja, totally; I used to do the whole darker tone thing, which is still a great way to shade, don't get me wrong, but it is way faster to shade this way n.n I learned it from a person's tutorial in my faves, and worked with it.

Yeah and I never even bothered trying the whole hue/saturation thing to get rid of blue line work....I just kept brightening and contrasting it which made it look crappier XD

XDD Ja, that was a big revalation for me when I figured that one out too. I used to just try like you did, messing with contrast and brightness, and levels. n.n
