Oh, thats simple! Its like connect the dots. You're basically tracing your outlines by clicking down points. Dont worry if its messy or cuts off parts. The point is to make a generic shape around your character. From there, click in the middle of one of those lines. That adds a point. now, holding control, click that point and pull it out. You get a curve! Then there are two diamonds on either end of that point you just dragged. Those basically twist your curve. ^^; If that doesnt help, check out [link]
