A few people have asked how I do lineart, so I finally caved in and decided to do a tutorial on it. These are just a few of my own settings and how I do things in Sai, as well as some pointers on lineweight, contrast, spotblacks, and inking in general.

Small critic: on the 6th page, the text bubble from the lower left last line say "This affects the your pen pressure", I think you want to remove "the".

Is the pen tool the same of the pencil tool in the normal layer?

Not exactly sure what your question is. On a normal layer, yes, the pen is like a hard-edged tool

I only have the pencil tool on layers not the pen tool. I have the pen tool if I'm in outline layer I have the pen tool.
