I remember doing this in college. My professor always told me just focus on the position and not the detials and not to go too slow

Simply, clear, and concise. The last bit is particularly reassuring (especially because my beginning ones look more like the thrid from the left there and it can be a bit demotivating to see tutorials with pretty fleshed out gestures T.T)

Oh wow, thanks for this! When I did gesture drawing in a life drawing class a few years ago, I was too focused on getting every single detail down and all the proportions correct...I guess I was doing it wrong the whole time. XD
