I'm finally uploading something from my sequential classes. This was for Materials and Techniques. We had to do pencils of a choice of three scenes, I chose the detectives hovering over a dead body. Sorry for the crappy scan, but the pencils were kind of light.

I went with a downshot because I wanted something more epic and more challenging. I worked really hard to get the composition just right, not too crowded in important areas etc, but I crapped out when it came to spotting the blacks. I truly ran out of time. I literally did this last minute. I did the blue pencils the night before, and only really started hard core final-roughing it around 11PM. So here you have it! Done at 5:30 AM... X.x Not enough time u.u oh well there you have it! Enjoy!

Oh and yes thats Sherlock and Watson. The other ppl are random, except Edmund in the window there lol

Dark and gory. I love it! :D
It's just a dismembered arm. What's all the fuss about? Hell, I've got at least 20 of those in my closet!

very well planned out.
Oh wow! Incredible perspective! It's nice to see someone who doesn't draw flat scenes XD

Don't sweat the petty things. Don't pet the sweaty things.

...and no I do not like MCR.
*jawdrop* that is...so cool! It's so inspiring to see you really breaking out of what's normally shown in your gallery. A background and composition...both executed so beautifully! I also am so impressed you managed to create it in such a short time!
Holy cow you did an excellent job! I think the dismembered arms are hilarious. I'd love to know what Watson is saying right now. Awesome cameo in there too! Great example of what can be done when one procrastinates! :D
Hahah Edmund! Always popping up where you least expect him.

And holy crap this angle is impressive. I almost never see stuff like this on DA; you are truly skilled.
Dang, that's amazing

Art is meant to be an unconstrained expression of the inexpressiable. It's our way of telling each other things we feel but are unable to put into words. It is ultimatley, the only real way of sharing who we really are with the rest of the world -Dilbert
