Just because someone draws hitler doesn't mean they're pro hitler, but lots of people think that. I can see why, but art is art to me, and u do really good art. I was thinking of drawing a female version of hitler, but i dont want to be hated or thought pro hitler. What software did u do this on, btw.

Thank you for the understanding. I know exactly what you mean. I'm big into WWII, and have an EXTENSIVE cast of Germans. To me, it's about character and story, though of course not everyone agrees. However, I've also seen the alternative; people just glorifying naziism through art so I guess that's where people get confused. It only takes a bit of reading the artist's statement or viewing the rest of their page to get an understanding of where they stand on the subject XD

I say you go for it! Let people whine if they must XD That's what's so great about art. It's freedom in itself.

Not sure what program I was using back then when I made this image. I want to say probably Open Canvas 1.1. I use Sai painter now with touchups in Photoshop. I've got tutorials on my coloring and inking method in the Reference folder of my gallery.

Yhea in school we started the WWII unit, and it's really interesting. It is like story and character, and things like that are fun to draw. There are so many different things you could do with that and still not be a pro nazi-hitler maniac, even though people might think u r.

Thanks for the support on that. I will draw it, but I'm still not sure if I should post it. If it looks good enough, i might, but probably should see how it looks first

Thanks for the info. I just started drawing digitally around 2 weeks ago, and all I have to draw on is a sketchbook app on my iphone and my brothers iPad, so I'm trying do see what's the best art software I can get that isn't, like, $1000. My friend has a good one but its to expensive

No problemo! I highly recommend Sai Painter. If you want something like Photoshop there's a free program called Gimp (free as in, legit free, not illegal XDDD) Open Canvas 1.1 is free for download as well. I'll shoot you a note about SAI

Thanks! I do know of gimp, my friend has it, and I tried it. It's nice, but really complex. I was thinking of downloading it, but I probably should find a tutorial first, and even then, it would take a while to explore all of it. If I can't find something I like better, I will probably get it though
